1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting Xattix to your Discord server or interacting with the bot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please remove the bot from your server.

2. Description of Service

Xattix is a Discord bot that provides automated impersonation detection. The bot compares joining members' public profiles against protected roles in your server and alerts administrators to potential threats.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these terms. You must also have the necessary permissions to add bots to the Discord server in question.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Xattix only for its intended purpose of impersonation detection and server security. You may not:

• Abuse the bot's detection system to harass or target legitimate users
• Deliberately trigger false alerts to disrupt server operations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the bot's operation
• Use the bot in any manner that violates Discord's Terms of Service
• Add users to the server blacklist for reasons unrelated to impersonation or security

5. Data Processing

By using Xattix, you acknowledge that the bot processes publicly available Discord profile data (usernames, avatars, bios, account age) for the legitimate purpose of impersonation detection. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.

You further acknowledge that confirmed scammers may be added to a cross-server blacklist to protect all communities using Xattix. Blacklist records are maintained for security purposes.

6. Service Availability

Xattix is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding:

• Continuous, uninterrupted availability of the service
• Detection accuracy — no automated system can catch every threat or avoid every false positive
• Compatibility with future Discord API changes

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Xattix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the bot, including but not limited to:

• Damages from undetected impersonation attempts
• Damages from false positive detections
• Loss of data, server members, or reputation

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Xattix from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the bot or violation of these terms.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify the bot's features, these terms, or discontinue the service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the bot or our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to Xattix for any server that violates these terms. You may terminate your use at any time by removing the bot from your server.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before formal legal action.
